Judge Rogers gave Liberty Counsel 2 weeks to submit written final arguments... Then Benji Stevenson for ACLU has 21 days to respond to that. That puts a verdict some time out in January at least. NOTE: It is precedent to give the ACLU more time to respond; they enjoy that precedent stuff...
Thanks:In God We Trust Rally!
Wednesday, December 2, 2009 was a great success! We had over 200 people lift God's name in praise and lift prayers for Judge Rogers, Benjamin Stevenson, and Harry Mihet. We also prayed for our school districts and for the facts to come out about the winners and losers in this whole issue...
$440,000 in legal fees so far:
$196,500 ~ ACLU
$ 31,397 ~ SRC district’s attorney Paul Green
$213,658 ~ Tallahassee law firms recommended by the state
The bulk of the charges will be covered by the district’s liability insurance, but the school board will pay Green’s fees. (Source: NWF Daily News)
That's a lot of money for a misspelled and grammatically tragic memo that was more confusing than lucid... Mr. Green owes us some value for this money.
Liberty Counsel, ADF, and other organizations ALL told me that they were NOT contacted; had they been, they would have defended our county for FREE! They now ARE defending us after the fact due to the disgraceful job done by those who were supposed to have been defending our rights. __________________________________________________
